Food Counter Attendant Employer: Agom Holding’s Corporation O/A Subway Location: #2,131 Aspen Drive, Sparwood, BC, V0B 2G0 Workplace information: On site (work must be completed at the physical location; no remote work option) Salary: $18.25 hourly Hours: 35 hours per week Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time Start date: As soon as possible Vacancies: 2 Job Overview: Language Requirement: • English Education: • Completion of Secondary School is required. Experience: • Experience is an asset, however, on the job training will be provided to unexperienced candidates. Responsibilities and Duties: • Greet customers, take food and beverage orders, and serve customers at the counter in a courteous and efficient manner. • Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other menu items by portioning, wrapping, and packaging food items according to customer specifications and company standards. • Use manual and electrical equipment to clean, slice, cut, and prepare vegetables, meats, cheeses, and other food ingredients for food preparation and service. • Package take-out and delivery orders and ensure that all orders are complete, accurate, and properly presented. • Stock refrigerators, salad bars, condiment stations, and display areas and replenish food supplies as required. • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and food preparation surfaces and follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
