Prepare and cook a variety of meals and dishes following cafe/bistro recipes. Cook special meals as per instructions from the chef or management. Maintain inventory records and order food supplies and equipment. Assist in planning menus and estimating food requirements and costs. Supervise and schedule kitchen helpers, providing guidance and training. Oversee kitchen operations and ensure adherence to food safety standards. Set up and manage buffet presentation if applicable. Keep the kitchen and work area clean and sanitized. Hire and train kitchen staff as needed. Interact with customers to address inquiries and ensure satisfaction.
