COOK Wanted Cafenara Job Description Cafenara, located at #108-4716 Lazelle Avenue, Terrace, BC V8G 1T2, Canada, is currently looking for one (1) permanent, full-time cook qualified. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail. • Position: Cook • Vacancy: One (1) • Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent • Compensation: $21.50 per hour • Working hours: 30-40 hours per week • Benefits: 4% vacation pay, Free meals & Tips Job Duties • Prepare and cook a variety of international dishes, including Pad Thai, Chicken Teriyaki, Butter Chicken, Linguine Pomodoro, Vietnamese Noodle Salad, Korean Rice Bowl, Chicken Rice Bowl, Wonton Soup, and other specialty menu items. • Plan menus and accommodate special dietary needs by preparing allergy-safe dishes for customers as required. • Uphold high standards of kitchen sanitation and food safety in all work areas. • Follow standardized recipes and actively incorporate customer feedback to enhance menu offerings. • Develop new menu concepts and create a wide range of sauces to expand culinary options. • Maintain consistent food quality by monitoring portion sizes, estimating ingredient requirements, and managing food costs effectively. • Supervise and train kitchen staff in proper food preparation techniques to ensure efficiency and consistency. • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and task completion. • Track and maintain food inventory, supplies, and equipment; place timely orders as necessary to avoid shortages. • Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and work areas at all times, strictly adhering to hygiene and safety guidelines.
