Supervisor.

Marhaba Restaurant located at 90 Gorge Rd W, Victoria, British Columbia V9A 1M1 is looking for a supervisor. The duties of the Supervisor will be as follows: • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and front-of-house staff during service • Schedule and assign duties to servers, kitchen helpers, and support staff • Ensure that all food and beverages are served in accordance with the restaurant's quality standards • Oversee weekend buffet operations including preparation, setup, replenishment, and breakdown • Handle customer inquiries, concerns and complaints and resolve issues promptly • Monitor and maintain inventory of food, beverages, and supplies and place orders as needed • Train new staff in restaurant procedures, food safety standards, and customer service expectations • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations • Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service during peak hours • Assist with catering coordination and event service as required • Prepare shift reports and communicate operational updates to management This is a permanent and full-time position. Wage being offered is $21 per hour. Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. SKILLS REQUIRED: • Completion of secondary school is required • Completion of a diploma or certificate in a related field will be considered as an asset • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in a food service or restaurant setting is required This position is open to indigenous persons, vulnerable youth, and newcomers to Canada.
