There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities Tasks • Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions • Address customers' complaints or concerns • Professionalism in customer service • Load and unload goods • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle • Perform preventive maintenance • Receive and relay information to central dispatch • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption • Transport and handle dangerous goods Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses • AZ class license • Air Brakes Endorsement • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Experience and specialization Type of trucking and equipment: Tractor-trailer Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities • Physically demanding • Repetitive tasks • Sitting Personal suitability • Flexibility • Organized • Reliability • Hardworking Who can apply for this job?
