Title: Meat department manager - food store Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time) Salary: CAD 45.00 – 48.00 per hour, At least 30 hours per week Benefit: 4% of vacation pay, extended benefits after 6 months Location: #110-6951 72 Street, Delta, BC V4G 0A2 Requirements: - Completion of secondary school - A university degree or college diploma is an asset. - Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience within the meat department Main Duties: • Direct and evaluate the daily operations of the meat department. • Supervise team members and coordinate task distribution to optimize workflow efficiency and food safety standards. • Monitor customer demand for specialty cuts, and adjust product selection and inventory levels accordingly • Select and manage the range of meat products offered, and establish pricing in line with market and quality standards • Source and negotiate with meat suppliers and vendors to secure quality products for the department • Plan and execute promotional strategies and pricing for meat products to drive department sales • Prepare and manage the department budget, monitor waste and shrink, and track revenues to meet profitability targets • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns related to meat products, and maintain high standards of product quality and service • Recruit, train, and develop meat department staff, and manage performance How to apply: Please send your resume to hr.21ctrading@hotmail.com
