Job Title: Marble Mason # Of Positions: 1 Wage Rate: $38/hour Language: English Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year Installation Specialization: Marble Tiles Job Responsibilities: - Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered - Mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives using hand trowel - Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools - Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout - Cut, surface, polish and install marble and granite - Estimate costs and materials - Mix, lay and polish terra surfaces - Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: - Physically demanding - Handling heavy loads - Bending, crouching, kneeling - Ability to distinguish between colours - Attention to detail - Hand-eye co-ordination - Large workload Personal Suitability: Accurate Client focus Dependability Judgement Reliability Team player Hardworking How to apply: By Email: jobs@granitenation.ca
