In-Home Child Care Provider (NOC 44100) Employer: Rajvir Gill Position: In-Home Child Care Provider Location: Richmond, BC  Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 30–35 hours per week Wage: $20.00 per hour Language: English I am seeking a reliable and responsible In-Home Child Care Provider (NOC 44100) to provide ongoing care for his two young children, aged 4 and 6 years. The successful candidate will be responsible for the children's daily care, safety, well-being, and social and physical development. The child care will primarily be provided in the employer's private residence. The position is full-time and permanent, with 30–35 hours of work per week. Main Duties ?Supervise and care for two children in the employer's home. ?Plan, prepare and serve meals and snacks for the children. ?Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment for the children. ?Oversee the children's daily activities, including meals, rest periods and playtime. ?Instruct and assist the children with personal hygiene and daily routines. ?Support the children's emotional well-being and social development. ?Follow the parents' instructions regarding discipline and appropriate behaviour. ?Organize and participate in age-appropriate activities such as games, crafts, reading and outdoor activities. ?Take the children to and from school, daycare, appointments and other activities as required. ?Supervise the children during indoor and outdoor activities. ?Assist with light housekeeping duties related to the children, including cleaning children's areas, laundry and tidying toys and belongings. ?Prepare and maintain basic records of the children's daily activities and health information, when required. ?Communicate with the parents regarding the children's daily activities, needs and well-being. Employment Requirements ?Completion of secondary school is required. ?Previous experience of at least one year in child care or household management or relevant education is required. ?Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of the position is required. ?Ability to communicate effectively in English is required. ?The successful candidate must be reliable, responsible and able to work independently in a private household.
