Family Seeking a Dedicated and Caring Child Care Provider We are a family of five with three young children, ages 16 months, 3 years, and 5 years, seeking a dedicated, caring, and reliable Child Care Provider to join our family as soon as possible. Terms of Employment Employment: Permanent, full-time Language: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience: 1 to less than 7 months Work Setting: Employer’s private home Target Group: Multi-aged group of children Main Duties and Responsibilities Change diapers Follow parents’ lead with toilet training Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties Bathe, dress and feed infants and children Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home Prepare and serve nutritious meals Prepare infants and children for rest periods Supervise and care for children Tend to emotional well-being of children Required Certificates and Training CPR Certificate First Aid Certificate Security and Safety Criminal record check required Physical Requirements Ability to handle and lift children weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal Suitability The ideal candidate should demonstrate: Flexibility Initiative Organization Reliability Good time management Patience A caring and nurturing attitude toward children We are looking for someone who is trustworthy, responsible, compassionate, and committed to providing a safe and positive environment for our children.
