The Salmon Arm location is currently hiring an Accounting Clerk to assist with day-to-day financial operations and support the store’s financial accuracy. Job Details: Title: Accounting Clerk Type: Permanent Full Time Wage: $25 per hour Hours of Work: 35 hours per week Work Location: 1151 10 Ave SW Suite 280, Salmon Arm, BC V1E 1T3 Start date: As soon as possible Number of vacancy: 1 Job Descriptions: • Enter and process bills, invoices, receipts, payrolls and other routine financial documents with accuracy and timeliness • Support reconciliation of cash, sales, payrolls, and any other bank records • Maintain accurate records for accounts payable and accounts receivable • Generate basic monthly financial summaries and reports for management review • Investigate and resolve pricing, quantity, and receipt discrepancies in coordination with other staff, such as documenting losses due to theft • Assist with year-end payroll reporting (T4s, ROEs, etc., if applicable) • Provide general clerical support as needed Qualification: • College diploma required; post-secondary education in accounting is a plus • Experience in accounting clerk role preferred • Familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel • Detail-oriented and organized • Excellent English communication skills.
