Job Title: Construction Site Supervisor # Of Positions: 1 Start Date: ASAP Wage: $38/hour Language: English Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year Job Responsibilities: - Supervise workers and projects - Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions - Estimate costs and materials - Ensure health and safety regulations are followed - Read blueprints and drawings - Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies - Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites - Coordinate subcontractors activities - Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards - Ensure compliance to drawings, specifications and building codes - Supervise daily activities of floor hands, labourers and helpers - Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality - Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units Work Site Environment: - Outdoors - Noisy - Dusty Work Setting: - Construction - Commercial - Residential - Various Locations Supervision: 5-10 people Work Conditions and physical capabilities: Work Under pressure Personal Suitability: - Excellent oral communication - Organized - Reliability - Team Player How to apply: By email: karampreet.sandhu88@gmail.com
