Employer: Roll'n Pin Asian Restaurant Position: Kitchen helper Location: 1944 Queens Ave, Brandon, MB, R7B 0T1 Wage: 16.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week Nature of work: Term or contract & Full time (Shift, Morning, Night, Day, Weekend, Overtime available) Start Date: Starts as soon as possible Number of vacancy: 1 Languages: English Education:Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting: Restaurant Tasks -Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables -Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units -Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas -Keep records of the quantities of food used -Package take-out food -Portion and wrap foods -Prepare, heat and finish simple food items -Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs -Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment -Handle and store cleaning products -Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas -Remove kitchen garbage and trash -Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses -Food Safety Certificate Work conditions and physical capabilities -Fast-paced environment -Handling heavy loads -Physically demanding -Repetitive tasks -Standing for extended periods Weight handling -Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal suitability -Efficient interpersonal skills -Reliability -Team player -Ability to multitask -Dependability -Positive attitude Support for youth group -Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth -Offers mentorship and coaching for youth -Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth How to apply: please send your resume and required documents to rollpinhiring@outlook.com.
