Details of the position are as below:- Job Title: Carpenter Wage Offered: $31.50 hourly Job Type: Full-time & permanent Language Required: English Experience Required: 1 Year of related work experience Minimum Education: High School Start date of employment: As Soon As Possible Positions Available: 2 Job Location: Abbotsford BC Company Address: 3269 Cheam Drive, Abbotsford BC V2T 4Y8 Key Responsibilities: - Determine specifications and calculate requirements by reading drawings - Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools - Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials - Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls - Fit and install items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware - Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures - Prepare cost estimates for clients - Perform other Carpentry related duties as required How to Apply: We appreciate your interest in joining our team.
