Holistic Freightlines is expanding its professional driving team and is seeking dependable, and safety-focused Transport Truck Drivers to support its growing long-haul freight operations. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled AZ/Class 1 drivers who take pride in safe driving, timely deliveries, proper vehicle inspections, and professional communication with dispatch and customers. Successful candidates will play an important role in transporting goods across routes while maintaining high standards of safety, reliability, and service. -Job Title: Transport Truck Driver / Long-Haul Truck Driver -Employer: Holistic Freightlines -Location: Brampton, Ontario -Wage: $36.00 per hour -Hours: 40 hours per week -Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time -Vacancies: 5 -Start Date: As soon as possible Employment Requirements: - Languages: English -Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate -Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Credentials (Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses) -AZ class license -Driver's License (Class 1 or A) Responsibilities -Mountain driving expertise -Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy -Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials -Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment -Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle -Perform preventive maintenance -Receive and relay information to central dispatch -Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
