Job Description
Work location: 2728 Victoria Avenue, Brandon, MB R7B 0M8 Wage: 16.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week Nature of employment: Term or contract and Full time (Shift, Morning, Night, On call, Weekend, Overtime available) Start date: Starts as soon as possible Number of vacancy: 1 Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting: Restaurant Tasks • Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units • Keep records of the quantities of food used • Package take-out food • Portion and wrap foods • Prepare, heat and finish simple food items • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs • Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment • Handle and store cleaning products • Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses • Food Safety Certificate • Experience and specialization Cuisine specialties • Japanese cuisine Work conditions and physical capabilities • Fast-paced environment • Handling heavy loads • Physically demanding • Repetitive tasks • Standing for extended periods Weight handling • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal suitability • Efficient interpersonal skills • Reliability • Team player • Ability to multitask • Dependability Support for youth group • Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth • Offers mentorship and coaching for youth • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth How to apply: please send your resume and required documents to sushihuthiring@outlook.com.
