Job Description
Gurjas Stacking located in Surrey, BC is looking for construction helpers to work all across lower mainland. The candidate is not required to have previous experience or education for this job but candidates having relevant experience and at least high school education will be considered over with candidates with no relevant experience or high school education. This is a full-time permanent position for 30- 40 hours per week, and we are offering a competitive wage rate of $25.00 per hour. This position requires to work at different job sites anywhere in BC, but mostly across the lower mainland and also requires a lot of bending and heavy lifting. Following is the major set of duties required to be performed but not limited to: • Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas • Assist tradespersons according to their instructions. • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants • Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed. • Following all health and safety regulations. • Proper disposal of garbage.
