Job details - Location: Sault Ste. Marie, ON, P6B 3L8 - Work location: On site - Salary: $20.85 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week - Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time - Starts as soon as possible - Vacancies: 1 vacancy Languages - English Education - Secondary (high) school graduation certificate - or equivalent experience Experience - 1 to less than 7 months On site - Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment - Non-smoking Work setting - Employer's home - Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment Responsibilities/Tasks - Change diapers - Follow parents’ lead with toilet training - Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents - Bathe, dress and feed infants and children - Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children - Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home - Prepare and serve nutritious meals - Prepare infants and children for rest periods - Supervise and care for children - Take children to and from school and to appointments - Tend to emotional well-being of children - Help children with homework Experience and specialization/Target audience - Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children Security and safety - Criminal record check Transportation/travel information - Public transportation is available Work conditions and physical capabilities - Repetitive tasks - Attention to detail Weight handling - Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) - Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal suitability - Client focus - Excellent oral communication - Flexibility - Initiative - Judgement - Organized Benefits - Other benefits: Parking available How to apply - By email: oris_caregiver@outlook.com
