LONG HAUL TRUCK DRIVER NOC 73300 Employer: D&G LOGISTICS INC Location: 1020 WELLINGS RD, RM OF SHERWOOD, SK S4K 0A2 Salary: $33.60 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week Terms of Employment: Permanent Full Time Vacancies: 5 Start Date: As soon as possible D&G LOGISTICS INC is seeking reliable and safety conscious Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our transportation team. Successful candidates will transport freight throughout Canada and the United States while ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and company safety standards. Main Duties • Operate and drive tractor trailer trucks to transport goods and materials • Plan and adjust routes using GPS and other navigation systems • Conduct pre trip en route and post trip inspections of vehicles and equipment • Inspect tires brakes lights and cargo securement equipment to ensure roadworthiness • Maintain accurate records of mileage fuel consumption cargo information and hours of service • Receive and relay information to dispatch regarding schedules and delivery updates • Ensure cargo is properly secured and protected during transportation • Perform routine preventive maintenance and report mechanical defects • Drive as part of a two person team or convoy when required • Comply with all federal provincial and state transportation regulations Requirements Secondary school graduation certificate Valid Class 1A commercial drivers licence Experience operating commercial transport vehicles is an asset Knowledge of driver logbooks and transportation documentation Strong commitment to safety and professionalism Ability to work independently and as part of a team Work Conditions Frequent travel throughout Canada and the United States Extended periods of driving Physically demanding work How to Apply By email: hr@dglogistic.ca By mail: D&G LOGISTICS INC 1020 WELLINGS RD RM OF SHERWOOD, SK S4K 0A2
