Location: Suite 410, 500 4 Ave SW, Calgary, AB, T2P 2V6 (On-site) Salary: $47.00 hourly / 35 hours per week Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time Schedule: Morning, Day Vacancies: 1 Start Date: Starts as soon as possible About the Role Hankki Canada Inc. is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Restaurant Chain Corporate Controller to join our franchise head office team in Calgary. In this role, you will bridge high-level corporate strategy with daily multi-unit management. You will play a key part in controlling financial resources, organizing departmental expansion, and managing administrative systems to support our growing network of franchise locations. Key Responsibilities Resource Management: Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs across our franchise corporate structure. Departmental Development: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions to support brand growth. Multi-Unit Management: Co-ordinate the work of divisions, franchise networks, or internal corporate departments to ensure smooth communications between headquarters and franchise locations. Strategic Planning: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs that drive profitability and brand consistency. Official Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official business functions. Leadership & Delegation: Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions. Administrative & Brand Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning for the chain. Qualifications & Requirements Education: College/CEGEP diploma or graduation certificate in Business Administration and Management (General), Finance (General), or Business/Commerce (General). Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of management experience, with a preferred focus in a fast-casual or full-service franchise restaurant setting. Area of Specialization: Operations management. Technical Skills: Strong computer and technology knowledge, including clean operational proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and MS Windows. Language: Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English. Personal Suitability: Organised, flexible team player demonstrating initiative, strong oral and written communication skills, and an excellent eye for detail. Work Conditions: Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Security: Must be willing to undergo a standard criminal record check.
