Job Description
Work location: 1816 A 25 Ave, Calgary, Alberta, T2E 7K1 Wage: 20.00 hourly/30 to 40 hours per week Nature of employment: Term or contract/ Full-time (Evening, Morning, On call, Weekend, Overtime available) Start Date: As soon as possible Number of vacancies: 2 Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment: Dusty & Noisy Work setting: Factory or plant Job Duties: • Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually • Check and weigh materials and products • Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products • Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers • Perform other labouring and elemental activities • Clean machines and immediate work areas Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate Transportation/travel information • Own transportation • Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities • Handling heavy loads • Physically demanding • Manual dexterity • Attention to detail • Standing for extended periods • Combination of sitting, standing, walking Weight handling • More than 45 kg (100 lbs) Personal suitability • Efficient interpersonal skills • Flexibility • Reliability • Team player Support for youths • Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth • Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth How to apply: please send your resume and required documents to nuvocabinet@outlook.com.
