Hankki Red Deer (Hankki Korean Street Food) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager for our food services team located at 27 Clearview Market Way, suite 135, Red Deer, AB, T4P 0N1. This permanent full-time position offers a competitive wage of $26.00 per hour for 30 to 44 hours of work per week, plus gratuities and a complementary meal during each shift. The role covers day, evening, and weekend shifts, and the successful candidate will play a vital role in our daily operations by evaluating performance, monitoring revenues to manage labor costs, and analyzing budgets to help maintain and boost restaurant profits. We are looking for a professional with at least one to two years of experience in a supervisory position within the food service industry and a secondary school graduation certificate. Your daily responsibilities will include setting staff schedules, supervising and training the team, and conducting regular performance reviews. Beyond internal management, you will also be responsible for balancing cash, maintaining inventory, enforcing health and safety regulations, and negotiating with suppliers or catering clients. The ideal applicant is a reliable team player who excels in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong multitasking abilities. You should be comfortable addressing customer concerns directly and participating in the implementation of marketing plans. This role requires on-site presence and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining efficient interpersonal skills.
