Employer: 1103710 BC Ltd Business Location: Kelowna, British Columbia NOC Code: 65200 – Food and Beverage Servers Position Title: Food and Beverage Server Number of Positions: 1 Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Wage: $17.85 per hour Hours: 35–40 hours per week Work Schedule: Days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Start Date: As soon as possible Language Requirement: English We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Food and Beverage Server to join our team at a busy Chinese restaurant in Kelowna. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests. This position is suitable for individuals who are friendly, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment. No previous experience is required as on-the-job training will be provided. Job Duties - Greet customers warmly and present menus - Take food and beverage orders accurately from customers - Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely and professional manner - Provide recommendations on menu items, including beverages and alcoholic drinks - Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to requests and resolving basic concerns - Set up and clear tables, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for next guests - Process payments, handle cash, debit/credit transactions, and provide receipts - Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and service stations - Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely orders - Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards Employment Requirements - Minimum Education: Completion of secondary school (High School diploma) or equivalent experience - Experience: No previous experience required (will train) - Training: On-the-job training will be provided - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks - Strong communication and customer service skills How to apply: By email: zhangqiaomei2@gmail.com We welcome applications from everyone, regardless of gender and ethnicity, as well as applications from underrepresented groups (aboriginal peoples, youth, older workers, persons with disabilities, veterans and recent immigrants).
