Durabuilt Windows & Doors Inc. is seeking to hire Glaziers to join our team at 10920 178 Street, Edmonton, AB, T5S 1R7. All candidates must be willing to join a team environment to strengthen and grow our current crew with a positive attitude and character. We offer: • Wage: $28.00 per hour • Hours per week: 30-40 hours per week • Vacancies: 5 Terms of employment: • Full time permanent position • Job start date: as soon as possible • Employment conditions: Morning, Day, Weekend • Benefits: Other benefits, Group insurance benefits • Work location: 10920 178 Street, Edmonton, AB, T5S 1R7 Responsibilities and Duties: • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches and work orders • Determine the appropriate type of glass, frames and materials required for each job • Review daily run sheets to understand scheduled work and service priorities • Load service vehicles with required tools, materials and parts for service calls • Cut glass to required size and specifications in the workshop and on site • Safely remove broken or damaged glass before and after installation • Assemble, set up, and take down scaffolding, rigging, and lifting equipment. • Secure, install and align glass, mirrors and related products for interior and exterior installation • Repair, service and adjust residential windows, exterior doors, commercial aluminum doors and glass-supporting structures, including replacing damaged glass and sealants • Ensure all tools and equipment required for the job site are available and in safe working condition • Operate lifting equipment, cranes and suction devices to safely handle heavy glass units • Maintain a clean and safe job site upon completion of installation or repair work • Assist service technicians with job documentation, paperwork and reporting • Provide professional customer service and ensure client satisfaction • Perform duties as assigned by the supervisor Qualifications and Skills: • Must be able to communicate in English • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads; Bending, crouching, kneeling If this sounds like the perfect fit for you, then send your resume by email by email to hr@durabuiltwindows.com or by fax: 780-455-5775 No walk-ins and phone calls will be entertained Durabuilt Windows & Doors Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
