We are specialize in repairing and installing garage doors at an affordable price. We can even provide innovative garage doors that are durable and eco-friendly. Encore Overhead Doors Inc. is looking to hire Doors installation supervisor to join our team at 9418 39 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, T6E 5T9. All candidates must be willing to join a team environment to strengthen and grow our current crew with a positive attitude and character. We offer: • Wage: $37.00 per hour • Hours per week: 30-40 hours per week • Vacancy: 1 Terms of employment: • Full time permanent position • Job start date: as soon as possible • Employment conditions: Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend • Head office: 9418 39 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, T6E 5T9 • Work location: various locations; Work must be completed at the physical location • Work setting: Installation; Commercial; Residential; Various locations Responsibilities and Duties: • Supervise door installation projects to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to required quality and company standards. • Coordinate and schedule daily installation activities, ensuring teams understand tasks, priorities, and deadlines. • Interpret and work from technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints to ensure accurate and compliant installations. • Ensure installation teams have the correct materials, tools, equipment, and information before work commences. • Set up and oversee the safe use of tools, machinery, access equipment, and installation systems required for each project. • Monitor site progress, resolving technical or operational issues and escalating risks or delays where necessary. • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, risk assessments, and safe working practices at all times. • Carry out pre- and post-installation site inspections to confirm readiness, workmanship quality, and customer satisfaction. • Estimate labour time and material requirements and provide accurate progress updates to support planning and cost control. • Prepare requisitions and place orders for doors and other materials necessary for installation. • Provide technical guidance, instruction, and hands-on support to installation teams and subcontractors. • Recommend personnel actions, including task allocation, performance feedback, and training requirements. • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure efficient communication and workflow. • Maintain high standards of professionalism, customer service, and conduct in line with company policies.
