GRAVEL SCREENER Job details Employer: Valemount Sand & Gravel Ltd. Location: 1170 Canoeview Pl suite B 819 Valemount, BC V0E 2Z0 Salary: $27.99 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week Vacancies: 1 vacancy Employment groups: Youth, Veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces, Visible minorities, Persons with disabilities, Indigenous people, Newcomers to Canada, Mature workers Terms of employment: Permanent employment; Full time Employment conditions: Day, Weekend, Shift, Morning Start date: 2026-09-11 Job requirements Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Responsibilities Maintain clean and safe work environment Perform routine maintenance work on machinery Transport raw materials, finished products and scrap materials through the plant Feed conveyors, crushers and other equipment Skim dross from furnaces Sort, stack, bundle and stamp materials Assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks; Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Manual dexterity Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Workplace information: On site. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
