21 Century Trading Inc. is looking for a Warehouse Manager to work with our team. Title: Warehouse Manager Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time) Salary: CAD 49.00 per hour, At least 30 hours per week Benefit: 4% of gross pay or 10 days of paid vacation, extended health and dental benefits after 6 months. Location: #108-1875 Boxwood Rd, Nanaimo, BC V9S 5X9 Requirements: • College diploma is required • 2-3 years of supervisory experience in perishable warehouse operations involving perishable goods Main Duties: • Manage and evaluate all warehouse operations to make sure the facility runs smoothly every day. • Oversee essential services such as cleaning, security, safety checks, and outdoor maintenance like snow removal. • Supervise the repair and maintenance of all warehouse equipment, machinery, and electrical systems. • Create and manage the facility’s budget to keep operational costs under control. • Prepare regular reports and track statistics to monitor the warehouse's performance. • Set up schedules for safety inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid equipment breakdowns. • Hire, train, and manage staff while ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
