Cook – Full Time (NOC 63200) Company- Cathedral Social Hall Location: 608 Spadina Crescent E, Saskatoon, SK S7K 3H1 Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Salary: $17.00 per hour (35–40 hours/week) Start Date: As soon as possible Schedule: Day, Evening, Morning, Night, Weekend, Flexible shifts Work Setting: Restaurant / Bar (On-site only) About the Role Cathedral Social Hall is looking for a motivated and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Key Responsibilities • Determine the size of food portions and costs • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization • Requisition food and kitchen supplies • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances • Inspect kitchens and food service areas • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food • Order supplies and equipment • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment • Clean kitchen and work areas • Manage kitchen operations Requirements • Secondary school graduation certificate • 1–2 years cooking experience required • Safe Food Handling Certificate required • Experience with Canadian and/or international cuisine preferred • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Must be organized, reliable, and a team player • Criminal record check required Work Conditions • Repetitive tasks • Fast-paced kitchen environment • Attention to detail required Eligibility Applicants must be: • Canadian citizens, OR • Permanent residents, OR • Temporary residents with a valid Canadian work permit How to Apply ????
