Child care live-in caregiver Job details • Location: Vancouver, BC V6S 1M3 • Work location : On site • Salary: 20.00 hourly / 40 hours per week • Terms of employment : Permanent employment, Full time • Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night • Starts as soon as possible • Benefits: Other benefits • vacancies 1 vacancy Overview Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment: Non-smoking Work setting • Employer's home • Room and board provided Responsibilities Tasks • Change diapers • Follow parents’ lead with toilet training • Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties • Shop for food and household supplies • Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties • Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens • Bathe, dress and feed infants and children • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home • Organize, activities such as games and outings for children • Prepare and serve nutritious meals • Prepare infants and children for rest periods • Supervise and care for children • Take children to and from school and to appointments • Tend to emotional well-being of children Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses • CPR Certificate • First Aid Certificate Experience and specialization Target audience • Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children Experience with special needs children • Autistic children • Children with learning disabilities Additional information Security and safety • Criminal record check • Reference required Weight handling • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal suitability • Efficient interpersonal skills • Flexibility • Organized • Reliability • Patience • Honesty Benefits Other benefits • Other benefits Who can apply for this job?
