The Cook prepares and cooks a wide range of Vietnamese dishes under the direction of the Head Chef, ensuring flavour consistency, proper techniques, and high standards of food safety. Main Duties Prepare and cook Vietnamese dishes such as ph?, bún bò Hu?, bún th?t n??ng, c?m t?m, mì xào, l?u, món chiên, món kho, and other specialty items. Prepare broths, marinades, dipping sauces, stir-fries, grilled dishes, and noodle dishes following traditional methods. Portion, arrange, and garnish food according to restaurant standards. Follow recipes, maintain consistency in flavours, and adjust seasonings as required. Ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients including fresh herbs, meats, seafood, and spices. Assist with inventory rotation (FIFO), stocking, and minimizing spoilage. Clean kitchen stations and equipment after each shift. Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations. Assist Head Chef with prep work and daily tasks as required. Skill & Experience Requirements Experience preparing authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Knowledge of Vietnamese herbs, spices, and cooking methods. Food safety awareness and good hygiene practices.
