We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our team. Job Requirements Language: • English Education: • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: • 2 years to less than 3 years Certification: • Safe Food Handling Certificate required Key Responsibilities • Determine the size of food portions and costs • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization • Requisition food and kitchen supplies • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment • Clean kitchen and work areas • Manage Kitchen Operations Cuisine Specialties • Canadian • International Work Environment • Fast-paced setting • Physically demanding • Repetitive tasks Personal Suitability • Organized • Team player Security & Safety • Criminal record check required Eligibility You may apply if you are: • A Canadian citizen • A permanent resident of Canada • A temporary resident with a valid Canadian work permit ??
