We are seeking a compassionate and caring live-in caregiver for my sister, who has a disability. This position is open to female applicants, and accommodation will be provided. Education Required: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience Required : 1 to less than 7 months Tasks/Responsibilities Provide bedside and personal care, including administering medication with an AeroChamber (morning and evening), checking blood pressure, monitoring the oximeter, and setting up her CPAP machine before she sleeps. Offer companionship at home and while attending appointments or classes. Listening and engaging in meaningful conversation Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene Prepare and serve nutritious meals Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk Launder clothing and household linens Mend clothing and linens Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort Maintaining a safe living environment Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses CPR Certificate First Aid Certificate Experience and specialization Adults Females Persons with a disability Security and safety Criminal record check Reference required Weight handling Between 61 and 80 kg (133-176 lbs) Personal suitability Punctuality Client focus Dependability Efficient interpersonal skills Initiative Judgement Organized Reliability Patience Honesty
