Home support worker  Song Residence in Surrey, BC, is looking for a responsible Home Support Worker (NOC 44101). Job details Location: Surrey, BC Salary: 25.00 hourly, 30 to 40 hours per Week, to be negotiated. Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time Start date: As soon as possible Language: English Responsibilities Administer bedside and personal care. Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk. Mend clothing and linens. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Plan therapeutic diets and menus. Provide companionship. Provide personal care. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Job Requirements Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or higher Experience At least one year of Home Support Worker experience would be preferred. For qualified youth applicants, training will be provided. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses  First Aid Certificate, CPR, Support Worker (Caregiver) Certificate. Valid driver's license. Weight handling Between 45 and 60 kg (100-132 lbs) Work setting Work in employer's/client's home. There is no option to work remotely. Work Schedule Flexibility to work on weekends, evenings, overnight hours and holidays if needed.
