Languages English Education Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience Experience 3 years to less than 5 years On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment At heights Noisy Dusty Outdoors Work setting Construction Commercial Tasks Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites You can apply if you are: a Canadian citizen a permanent resident of Canada a temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit Do not apply if you are not authorized to work in Canada.
