Drywall Installer.

Righton Construction Ltd located in Surrey, BC Is looking for a Drywall Installer. Candidate must have at least high school education. Also, the candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant experience or degree/diploma/certificate. It is a full-time job for 30-40 hours a week. The company is offering a very competitive wage of $37.00 per hour. The candidate will be required to work across various locations in lower mainland. Following is the major set of duties required to be performed but not limited to: • Install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners • Apply joint compound to fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks using trowels and broad knives • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets • Secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists • Smooth excess compound and allow it to dry • Apply acoustic or texture materials to walls and ceilings • Use a taping machine to tape joints and embed tape in compound • Install metal stud framing and furring for drywall or plaster walls and ceilings using hand and power tools • Prepare wall and ceiling layouts • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications • Instruct helpers and other team members when required Interested applicants can send their resumes by emailing them at rightonconstructionltd@outlook.com or by mailing them at 14671 111A Avenue, Surrey, BC V3R 2E1
