Position: Plumber (NOC 72300) Company Name: Paton Plumbing Worx Inc. Wages: $37/hour Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time Language: English Minimum Education: High School / Trade Certification is an asset Experience: 2 or more years of experience in the plumbing field required. Ability to get Valid BC driver’s license. Positions Available: 1 Business Location: 4582 196 street, Langley, BC V3A 6G7 Job Location(s): Various locations throughout the Lower Mainland Job Duties: Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems Work efficiently to meet clients required deadlines. Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges Take directions from lead hands and employer Skills: Organized, attention to detail Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
