Job Title: Drywall Taper (Noc: 73102) Employer: Best Contractor Ltd. Employer Business Address: 1408 25 Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T6T 2K7 Salary: $65,520 annually / 35 hours per week Vacancies: 2 positions Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time Start date: As soon as possible Job requirements Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work Location Information: Various locations Responsibilities Tasks: • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints • Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster • Clean and prepare surfaces • Cure freshly plastered surfaces • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife • Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required • Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry • Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages Additional information Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Who can apply for this job?
