Job Title: Cook (NOC 63200) Company: THE FLATS EATERY + DRINK Location: 220 1175 Nicholson Road, Estevan, SK, S4A 2S7 Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: $16.00 per hour Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week Work Schedule: Day, Evening, Morning, Night, Weekend Start Date: As soon as possible Vacancies: 1 Job Overview: THE FLATS EATERY + DRINK is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our team in Estevan, Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting overall kitchen operations. Responsibilities: • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances • Plan menus and estimate food requirements • Requisition food and kitchen supplies • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment • Inspect kitchens and food service areas • Clean kitchen and work areas to ensure hygiene and safety standards Qualifications: • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a cook • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure • Attention to detail, organized, reliable, and a team player • Language: English Work Conditions: • On-site work only (no remote work option) • Physically demanding with standing for extended periods • May involve early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts Who Can Apply: We welcome applications from: • Canadian citizens and permanent residents • Temporary residents with a valid Canadian work permit How to Apply: By Email: careers_estevan@theflatseatery.ca Subject Line: Application – Cook Position We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
