Job Description
JHANDEWALA MASONRY LTD. located at 6444 129A STREET Surrey, BC V3W 0E4 is looking to hire masons- brick and stone for their company. This is a full-time position for 30-40 hours a week. The candidate is required to have at least high-school education. Candidates are also required to have at least 1 year of relevant experience. The company is willing to pay industry competitive wage rate of $38.00 per hour to the suitable candidates. Following is the major set of duties required to be performed but not limited to: • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units • Estimate materials, tools and equipment required for projects • Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units • Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces • Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures • Supervise other workers • Line or reline furnaces, kilns, boilers and similar installations using refractory or acid-resistant bricks, refractory concretes, plastic refractories and other materials • Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing to walls or other surfaces • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build patios, garden walls and other decorative installations Interested applicants can mail their application/resumes to 6444 129A STREET Surrey, BC V3W 0E4 or can email at jhandewalamasonry@outlook.com.
