Hans Trucking Ltd. is looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to work as Truck-trailer mechanic (NOC-72410). for mobile roadside repair services (drive to the truck breakdown location or in the trucking yard for repairs). The main duties of these positions are: • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems including chassis, frame, cab, body, engine and drive train, air brakes, steering, and fuel, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems including structural, brake and electrical systems. • Inspect trucks in operation, road test them, and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults • Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups including roadside repairs • Work under a certified red seal mechanic and complete reports to record problems and work performed.
