Rocket Logistic Incorporated is a well-established Long-haul Trucking company based of Abbotsford, BC. We deliver nationally and internationally (USA). To meet the extensive need of our management team, we are looking to hire A Transportation Manager (NOC-70020). The main duties of these positions are: • Take control of full company operation by planning, organizing, and evaluating the overall operation which includes managing the administrative, dispatch, financial and transportation responsibilities. • Oversee and co-ordinate with admin supervisor, dispatch supervisor, bookkeeper, company compliance officer for smooth operation. • Arrange shipping/receiving documentation, across border compliance documentation and overlook administrative documents • Communicate with new and existing venders, negotiate with venders, set transportation rates, bid, or send quotes. • Oversee and control company budget to keep it more economical and efficient. • Assist in recruiting personnels, develop, and oversee training sessions (MELT, Harassment, Cultural Awareness etc.), follow up with staff on company compliance polices. Employment requirements • Completion of bachelor’s degree in business or engineering is usually required. • Several years of experience in transportation operations including admin or supervisory positions are usually required Who can Apply: Preference will be given to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residences People who can legally work in Canada are welcome to apply • Vacancies: 1 • Position Type: Permanent Full-time (35-40 hours per week) • Salary: Salary: 57.50-58.00 per hour ($89,700 annually) • Language: English Benefits: 10 days of paid vacation or 4% allowance, basic medical coverage until covered by the provincial medical plan (for TFWs) and all other benefits according to BC Work Standards Act.
