The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments between Canada and the U.S., ensuring accurate documentation, and facilitating smooth border clearance. This role requires strong organizational skills, digital fluency, and the ability to collaborate with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams. Ideal for individuals with 1–2 years of logistics experience, this full-time position offers competitive compensation and company-provided equipment to support remote work. Key Responsibilities ? Logistics Coordination & Documentation: o Coordinate cross-border shipments by preparing and reviewing freight documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin. o Ensure documentation accuracy to support timely border clearance and minimize delays. o Digitally manage and archive shipment records for traceability and internal audits. ? Border Clearance Support: o Schedule shipments strategically to reduce wait times at U.S.–Canada border crossings. o Identify and resolve documentation issues that may impact transit or trigger inspections. o Digitally manage and archive shipment records for traceability and internal audits. ? Stakeholder Communication: o Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth movement of goods. o Maintain communication with dispatchers and drivers to confirm they are equipped with proper documentation and instructions. o Coordinate with customs brokers and logistics partners to support regulatory compliance. ? Process Optimization & Risk Awareness: o Conduct internal reviews of documentation workflows to identify risks and inefficiencies. o Recommend improvements to enhance shipment accuracy and reduce border-related delays. o Support internal training efforts on documentation standards and logistics procedures. ?
