Company Name: HAZELTON MANOR Work Address: 99 PEELAR ROAD, Concord, Ontario, L4K 1A3 Position: Banquet Manager Number of Position: 1 Salary/Wage: CA$36.05 Employment Terms: Permanent Full time, 30-40 hours per week Job requirements: • Languages: English • Education: College/CEGEP • Experience: 2 – 3 years Major Job Responsibilities • Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies • Evaluate daily operations • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget • Monitor staff performance • Plan and organize daily operations • Recruit staff • Set staff work schedules • Supervise staff • Train staff • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures • Conduct performance reviews • Cost products and services • Organize and maintain inventory • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities • Participate in marketing plans and implementation • Leading/instructing individuals • Address customers' complaints or concerns • Provide customer service • Manage events Supervision: 5-10 people Work setting: Urban area, Willing to relocate, Relocation Cost not covered by employer Personal suitability: Client focus, Dependability, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Team player, Ability to multitask Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Large workload.
