Our services include cross-border and local refrigerated trucking, warehousing, specialty freight, and shipping services, all at competitive prices. Since June 2021, we have experienced exponential growth in both our company revenue and the quality of our services and staff. Currently, we would like to hire 1 short haul truck driver to join us. Job Description: Address customers’ complaints or concerns Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques Professionalism in customer service Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy Drive lighter, special purpose trucks Load and unload goods Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform brake adjustments Perform emergency roadside repairs Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Perform preventive maintenance Receive and relay information to central dispatch Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Required skills: At least 3 year of relevant work experience Education Requirement: Minimum high school Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail Handling heavy loads Overtime required Physically demanding Certificates, Licence, Memberships, and Courses • Driver’s License (Class 1 or A) • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement • Verifiable Driving Experience Benefits: • On-site parking • Paid time off • Mileage paid • Bonus for piece work • Employee insurance Interested candidates, please submit a detailed resume including qualifications and past and present work experience to igloorecruit@gmail.com.
