Job Description
Experience in teaching young students, especially for ages 4-13 years. Being able to teach French as a second language is essential. Teaching young students is essential. The job requires making lesson plans, understanding of Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum expectations, planning and developing activities, understanding of assessment/evaluation as per Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum expectations, understanding of “Growing Success in Ontario schools”, etc. A minimum of one year of experience is required, although 4-5 years of experience is preferred. Other qualities Enthusiastic as an educationist of young students and able to positively engage the learning in a “fun environment”. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in French, linguistics, or other related social science fields. A certificate in French as a second language, such as TFSL, etc, is preferred.
