Job Description

Assisting Teachers: Assist teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering instructional materials. Supporting Students: Provide individualised support to students, including those with special needs. Supervising Students: Supervise students during lessons, activities, and transitions. Maintaining Order: Assist in maintaining a positive and respectful classroom environment. Assisting with Behaviour Management: Support teachers in managing student behaviour and implementing behaviour plans. Organizing Materials: Assist with organizing and preparing instructional materials. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and other relevant information. Communication: Communicate with teachers, parents, and other staff members as needed. Assisting with Assessments: Assist with administering assessments, grading, and providing feedback. Providing Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and encouragement to students. Supporting Diverse Needs: Support students with diverse needs, including those with special needs or English language learners. Fostering Inclusion: Promoting Inclusion and Diversity in the Classroom. Participating in Professional Development: Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Maintaining Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of student information and records. Collaborating with Colleagues: Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other staff members to support student learning.
