Rocket Logistic Incorporated is a well-established Long-haul Trucking company based of Abbotsford, BC. We deliver nationally and internationally (USA). To meet the extensive need of driver shortage, we are looking to hire Long-Haul Truck Drivers (NOC-73300). The main duties of these positions are: • Operate and drive articulated trucks to transport goods and materials • Plan travel schedule and routes and may perform emergency roadside repairs • Conduct Pre-Trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle • Oversee conditions of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights and brakes, monitor vehicle’s performance • Plan trips and obtain and check required documentation to transport goods • Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and regulations • Ensure to follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods • Record and maintain accurate logbooks regarding hours of work, distance travelled and fuel consumption • Communicate with company office for route changes, dispatch information about return pickups, weather conditions update and any breakdowns/incidents • May perform emergency roadside repairs • May drive as part of a team (two-drivers or a driver with a trainee) Employment requirements • Completion of secondary school may be required. • A Class 1 licence is required to drive combination vehicles • Air brake endorsement is required Who can Apply: Preference will be given to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residences. If you are working as a truck driver in Canada or in possession of Class 1 license, please contact ASAP We will help you obtaining USA visa once hired • Vacancies: 8-10 • Position Type: Permanent Full-time (40-50 hours per week) • Salary: $36.65 per hour ($72,800-$91,000) • Language: English Benefits: 10 days of paid vacation (4%), basic medical coverage until covered by the provincial medical plan. Moving allowance for drivers outside 20Km radius and all other benefits according to BC Work Standards Act.
