Papa Johns Pizza in Langley (Yorkson), BC is looking to fill Food Counter Attendant/Kitchen Helper and delivery driver positions immediately. Hiring for three part-time positions. (Students living in the area looking for a few hours a day well come to apply). Having a valid driver's license is preferred as you may need to step out and help with deliveries The main duties of these positions are: Kitchen helpers and dishwasher perform some of the below mentioned duties: • Take customers’ orders and receive payment for food items purchased. • Wash, peel, grind, store, stack and prepare vegetables, and other ingredients used by the chef. • Wash, clean, spray and sanitize workstations, table, knifes, dough machine, other equipment, and appliances. • Prepare and slap dough, prepare and fill toppings, make and cut pizza. • Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers, replace garbage bags. • Help brining store supplies into the store, unpack and store supplies/groceries in refrigerators, cooler, cupboards, and other storage areas. • Sweep, mop and sanitize the floors, and perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff. • Clear and clean and sanitize tables in the dining area and make pizza boxes. • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pizza pans by hand • Place dishes in storage area, may dry or wipe them. • Make take out orders ready or may assist delivery drivers. Employment requirements Education: Secondary school education is recommended but not required. Experience: 1-2 years related experience may assist but not required Delivery Driver • Deliver pizza at the door • Fold boxes and help in the kitchen when needed On-the-job training is provided.
