Papa Johns Pizza in Langley (Yorkson), BC is looking to fill Pizza Restaurant Assistant Manager (NOC-60030) immediately. Papa Johns is a well-established fast growing food chain restaurant. The motivated and energetic assistant manager will be responsible for day-to-day operation, administrative part of the business and for business growth including marketing. The main duties of these positions are: • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant including food preparation, inventory control and order, cleanliness, inspection and supervision • Contact customers via phone calls, emails and other advertisement material to bring more business. • Approach jurisdictional business including hotels and industrial area to target business for lunch orders • Create and implement food offers or deals for business and consumer customers • Arrange and participate into community, school and sport events and fundraising activities to permote brand and business • Recruit staff and oversee staff training and recommend other training techniques • Set staff work schedules, track hours and send hours for payroll, monitor staff performance, conduct schedule and random inspections to encourage and progress staff performance • Control inventory, monitor revenues including daily, monthly and yearly sales, send required paper works for accounting • Resolve customer and employee complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed Employment requirements Education: Completion of diploma program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline or several years of experience in food preparation or service are required.
