Location: 5745 145a Street Surrey, BC V3S 8E2 Salary: $35.00 per hour Vacancy: 1 Start date: As soon as possible Employment groups: Indigenous people, Newcomers to Canada, Veterans, Visible minorities, Youth Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 40 hours per week Employment condition: Day, Evening, Morning Job Requirements: Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Responsibilities Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites Survey building locations and levels Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads Physically demanding Personal suitability: Accurate Team player Who can apply to this job?
