Long Haul Truck Driver (NOC 73300) Employer: F & S Logistics Limited Location: 2924 Miners Ave, Suite H, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 4Z7 Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Vacancies: 3 Salary: $33.60/hour (40 hours per week) Start Date: As soon as possible Overview F & S Logistics Limited is looking for reliable and motivated Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our growing team. This role involves transporting goods across various locations while ensuring safety, efficiency, and timely delivery. Job Responsibilities • Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy • Load and unload goods • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment • Perform brake adjustments • Perform emergency roadside repairs • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle • Perform preventive maintenance • Receive and relay information to central dispatch • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Requirements Education: • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: • 7 months to less than 1 year Licensing: • Valid AZ Class License Work Conditions • Physically demanding • Attention to detail required • Handling loads up to 9 kg (20 lbs) Personal Qualities • Reliable • Organized • Safety-focused Security Requirements • Criminal record check Eligibility Applicants must be: • Canadian citizens • Permanent residents • Temporary residents with a valid Canadian work permit Please do not apply if you are not authorized to work in Canada.
