Malhi Transport Ltd. is looking for Long Haul Truck Drivers Salary: $37.00/ hour Job Type: Full Time/ Permanent Language: English Experience: Previous work experience in driving straight or articulated trucks will be an asset Employment Requirements: Valid driver's License (Class 1 or equivalent); Air Brakes Endorsement OR the ability to obtain Class 1 licence with Air Brakes Endorsement Start date of employment: As soon as Possible Minimum Education: High School or equivalent Positions Available: 04 Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver Company Location: 14240 72 Avenue Surrey, BC V3W 2R1 Job Description: - Operate and drive tractor-trailer, long combination vehicles & straight trucks weighing over 5000 GVW to transport goods and materials; - Responsible for planning scheduled trip logistics and to obtain required documentation from office. - Load and unload goods as and when required - Receive & relay information to central dispatch - Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals, brakes etc. - Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures - Record and maintain cargo information, logbook, distance travelled and vehicle's fuel consumption. - Manually and/or electronically maintain logbook. - Operate GPS systems effectively - May drive as part of a two-person team How to Apply: Please e-mail resumes to: dnmalhitransport@outlook.com
